Building a Place to Learn
SFLAO is working to transform two existing buildings in the community into a small learning centre for the orphaned and vulnerable children in its care. With renovation and basic improvements, these buildings will become a safe and supportive space where children can study, receive guidance, and develop the skills they need for a brighter future.
As part of the project, a nearby outbuilding will also be converted into a hygienic latrine facility, helping to provide proper sanitation and improve health conditions for the children and staff using the centre.
Although the buildings already exist, they require repairs, materials, and basic equipment to become a functional learning environment. With support from donors and partners, SFLAO hopes to create a simple but meaningful place where children can learn to read, write, grow in confidence, and build hope for the future.
Every contribution helps bring this vision closer to reality and helps ensure that vulnerable children have access to a safe place where education and opportunity can flourish.
